Strict Press (5×5 @ 60%)
The pressing work this cycle is focused on SPEED when pressing overhead. Some athletes do not see strength adaptations in their pressing because they simply do it too slowly. Focus is to squeeze the whole body and get tight, then press like it’s 100%.

 The time domain for this sprint-style workout is 5-9 minutes, where you should challenge yourself to out-sprint the pain cave.
 The barbell weight should be no more than 80% of 1RM and may be power or squat.
